  1. If you wish to do Book 3 or Book 5, it is important that you have started the process of getting your CRB clearance before you return this form.
For simple steps on how to get a CRB clearance, you can download this guide. CRB applies only to those resident in the UK it is a police check for those working with children.
  2. The Training Institute requires that you finish the previous Ruhi Books before starting the next ones. For example, if you wish to study book 6, you must have already completed Books 1, 2, 3 and 4. It is not a requirement at this time to have completed book 5 (the animator training) to go on to Book 6.
  3. Participants should be able to participate for the duration of the training which means arriving at Cranmore the evening before the course starts (as they all start early in the morning) and leaving the morning after the last day.
  4. We will make the utmost effort to ensure that we cultivate an environment in which an intense but pure activity may flourish. We invite all the participants regardless of their age or other distinctions to help us create a safe and friendly Bahá’í environment during this time, and to this end we ask that participants sign and abide by the Code of Conduct.

To be signed by all project participants, regardless of age

We are committed to the success of the training and will make the utmost effort to ensure that we cultivate an environment in which an intense but pure activity may flourish. We invite all the participants regardless of their age or other distinctions to help us create a safe and friendly Bahá'í environment which we can all be proud of during this time.
For the protection of the participants, a Code of Conduct has been agreed and all participants are required to indicate their acceptance and commitment to the above ideals by signing the declaration statement.
In the unlikely event of any participant failing to follow the Code of Conduct the tutor may deem it necessary to invoke disciplinary procedures, which may involve asking that person to leave the training.

Declaration
For the benefit of all participants, whilst attending this training:

1. I will observe the laws of the land and I understand that the police may be notified if I do not.
2. I will observe any rules required by the host venue.
3. I will observe all relevant Bahá'í law and by my example and encouragement will assist all participants to do the same.
4. I will comply with the concept of 'moderation' in my behaviour and dress.
5. I will observe the recommended sleeping times to ensure that all the participants receive the full benefit from morning sessions.
6. I understand that we are working together to create a spiritually disciplined environment that is characterised by a desire for personal development and service, and that this training will be one of serious study, not merely to socialise with friends.

I understand that if I do not follow this Code of Conduct I will be cautioned and may even be asked to leave the training. I also understand that if any children or youth under the age of 18 for whom I am responsible break this Code of Conduct, I may have to take them away from the training.

If you accept these terms, please check this box . You will be asked to sign a paper version of the form once you arrive at the tower.
